Not me. Roast, rice and gravy, and green beans mixed together is one of my favorite meals. Corn as well, it that’s an option.

I'd throw some cornbread in there too.

If I'm having rice and gravy, I'm also having Le Sueur peas and, yes, I'm mixing them together. If corn is also on the table, I'll mix that in, too.

Rice is made to mix with other stuff.

Mix in that dressed salad you’ve got on the side. Now we’re talking!

Y'all are killing me!!! I can do the roast, rice and gravy in the same compartment, but nothing else! Otherwise, the plates look like someone is cleaning the table and scraping/dumping all the uneaten food on one plate to go in the garbage.

I'm traumatized and must seek bourbon to calm down. Thank goodness it's almost 5 pm.

No. Foods have their own spots on the plate and don't mix. They are allowed to touch, but don't mix. I can't stand my sides to mix with my rice and gravy, but we're gonna fight if you tell me there isn't some kind of vegetable to go with it.

I'm with you
I make rice and gravy A LOT and I usually put my rice/gravy/meat in a bowl and my sides on a plate.
I have diagnosed issues

You’re not kidding!

I’m happy to see there are a few folks in this thread who appreciate plates that don’t look like someone threw up on them!
