I had put Copeland's on this list, even after them being my first real job back in the day. They went downhill, but I went with a gift certificate we got for Christmas and it was as good as it was in the 90's. So I bought the frequent diner card.

I hate Olive Garden and am so glad the kid got over it being her favorite place to eat, ditto with Applebee's

There are a few places in NOLA, I had once and don't need to really go back, such as. Flaming Torch, Serendipity, Pelican Club, Antoine's, Andrea's(maybe worst meal of my life), Saucy's (iff CCBBQ is the best, this is the worst), and Tomas Bistro.

For me, it's generally chain, fast food hamburger type joints...McDonalds, Wendy's type stuff. I'll eat at these joints once every so often, but if I have a Mom and Pop comparable close, I'll go there every time.
