Going there for work a lot now. need some recs. Rouses is getting gross. they leave their food out and it cakes after a while. the gravy solidified.
Cajun catch is pretty good i gotta say.

Sammy's has gone down hill lately. Went a couple of weeks ago and after an hour waiting for our food, one plate was cold and another plate never showed.

The new Walk On’s is ok. Sammy’s has gone straight downhill in the last year or 2. The service is horrible.
Cactus cafe used to be a good little spot. It was across from Walmart if it’s atill open. Lagniappe is pretty good and has a large menu.

I've only been working in the area for about a month now and am pretty sure I had a small case of food poisoning from that Rouse salad bar..I grab a sandwich from there maybe once a week too...The Chinese spot isn't horrible, a lot of the guys in the office like it but they're all local so..I've found myself either not eating or bringing something from home a lot too..Seems like everything here is either on one side of the "city" or the other so its not even worth the hassle of trying something new

Asian Pearl is very good! I haven’t lived in Zachary in 10 years, but still best take out I’ve ever had (compared to Nola and Lafayette take out). When I visit my sister, we always have to order out from there before going home.

No restaurant that I know of has fallen so far in quality and service. Every single time I go there something gets worse, so I just don't go anymore after the last time I was there this past April.

On the contrary, it was always pretty lousy. Just poorly made Tex Mex.
