Headed up to DC for a work conference April 20th - 23rd. What are the top spots / new hot spots restaurants to hit up?
Staying at the Hilton on Capital Hill.
Thanks!

I haven’t been in years, but Bistrot du Coin was always one of my favorites.

Rose's Luxury and any of the Jose Andres' places.

Good suggestions so far. I'll add Maydan, The Dabney, St. Anslem and Seven Reasons. Cocktails at Green Zone.

The rooftop bar at the W next to the Treasury building is phenomenal at night. Views of the White House and Washington Memorial. Drinks are expensive but well worth it for the view.
Sushi Nakazawa at the Trump hotel is great. Central Michel Richard is really good as well. Old Ebitts if you’re near the mall and White House.

Make reservations. A lot of places are closed or working limited hours as government workers are only recently coming back to work. City has been a ghost town the past two years

I always make my way to Gadbys Tavern in Old Town. We the Pizza, Old Ebbitt Grill, and Georgia Browns.

Owned by the same chef as Good Stuff Eatery. Highly recommended.

Here are my D.C. recs:
Blue Duck Tavern is excellent.
Zaytinia for Mediterranean food.
Tosca for Italian food.
Rasika for Indian food.
Old Ebbits Grill is an historic place with a nice bar and the food is pretty good.
Favorite hotel is the Willard. All of these restaurants, except for Blue Duck, are within walking distance of the Willard which is a block from the side of the White House.
