So what do they do with the ones they don't hand select?

I know some people who have used greyhound, but that would require getting a friend to buy and pack them for you, then ship them.

I order a sack or two a year from Louisiana crawfish company. lacrawfish.com

Have used cajuncrawfish.com too. Both are about the same, usually just pick the cheapest of the two. Lately that's been lacrawfish.com.

Get a few dead ones, but its not been too bad. Get em shipped in on Saturdays, usually get here in Chatty early in the morning.

Haven't used them, but have heard good things about lacrawfish.com both here and from friends.

They also ship Lasyone's meat pies, both full size and minis. You could fry some of those up!

What kind of packaging do they use? With a Saturday delivery, I'll need to carry these a day. Thx

Good call. I may do that, and also take a few La goodies with me.

Big white foam cooler that is taped shut with material separating the sacked crawfish from the cold packs. They got some images of it on their facebook.

Take a look at them. They do Southwest freight, which may be an option...

I/we always use LACC, as others have mentioned. Never had a problem with delivery, always arrives around 9-10am the Saturday that we want them.

Went to a boil this past Saturday where they got em from Kyle LeBlanc, they were good quality. They also used Chackbay, it was some damn good crawfish. The cook even gave me one of his extra bags of it.

I will be introducing Jacksonville North Carolina to the goodness that is Chackbay seasoning. Ordered a case last week. My son would kick my arse if I did not use it in his one and only crawfish boil for the year.

Just missed you. I'll be passing through NC with a truck full early that Friday morning. Cooking in Virginia on Saturday

ETA: Cajuncrawfish or lacrawfish both do a good job. They probably ship more than everyone else combined
