How’s El Mexicano doing these days Gaston?

Haven’t been there in a while... food was always solid and has some of the better ritas that I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

County Farm is a goat ranch, sucks y’alls games aren’t at the Sportsplex. County Farm is far from everywhere. My son’s games are there at 1:30 & 6:00 on Saturday and he doesn’t want to play.

El Patron is the closest place to CF...Mexican, it’s good.

There’s a Mugshots and the normal chain stuff just north of the interstate on 49.

Long Beach Market is a good place to go from County Farm,

Y’all really should come to BSL at some point.

Oh yea. They’re not quite moving kitchen gear in yet, as far as I know. Should be interesting how Fields and them do next door to each other. Major additions at 200 too, roof top bar and some sort of high end oyster grilling bar.

Also, Murky Waters is coming to downtown BSL too. The owner bought the Ugly Pirate and I think the Lulu’s building for Murky Waters. It’ll be interesting how he gets foot traffic off of Main Street.

Absolutely love that place. There’s a cash only diner pretty close to it on 49 that I have no idea what it’s called but the food is top notch and cheap (like $10 for a meat and three with tea and a desert).

I had a pretty solid steak at Fields a couple weeks ago... all the food was good. Wine list is meh at best though.

Field had better bring it... cause the Ol boy from ox lot knows what he is doing. He is from that area as well. Although I’m sure you probably already knew that.

We love Half Shell in Gulfport. We were there this past weekend and ate there for Lunch sunday. I got the royal redfish entree and it was out of this world.

Patio 44 is nice, but the food is hit or miss.

Fields sells frickin Joel Gott for $50 and won’t let you bring your own bottles in. Good food but it’s the most trash wine list I’ve ever see.

Same... Redfish Orleans is as good or better than anything you'll find in Louisiana...

Yeh... it isn’t good. Can’t try to have an upper end steak house feel/price and have a wine list you can find at any beer bar. I realize it’s BSL, but you have to at least try...

Try Salute (sa LOO tay) for Italian. My wife loves the place. Crawfish Bread and 'Tour of Salute' entree is the way to go for first timers.
