I do enjoy Casamigos, but Cimarron is also really good and probably half price. Definitely more than adequate for any type of cocktail

the best tequila under $35 is Gran Centenario Anejo ! Good straight up chilled with a slice of orange or mixed in a Margarita using some Grand Gala and Tres Agava organic margarita mix...for real Mexican flavor add 1oz of olive juice..Dirty rita!

Try something like Lunazul, far cheaper and makes a really good margarita.

Yes it does

Some tequila "teacher" guy shows up on my feed. He mentions so many brands I have never heard of. It's amazing to me that so many brands can survive. I just don't know that many people who even talk about tequila. I mean, not nearly as much as bourbon, vodka and rum. Jay Baer.

@Alx, check out the 123 tequilas at Hocus. The Blanco is good but smokey, like mescal. All 3 are good but I really enjoyed the Anejo.

I imagine the cost of production, since it is ALL made in Mexico, is lower than many other spirits. Plus, a lot of the brands are made at the same distillery. So it is entirely possible you are getting 6 different "brands" from essentially the same batch of product.

Don Julio 70 (cristal anejo)
Don Julio private cask reposado
Both of these are $60-70 range.
Both are fantastic. Would not mix either with anything.
Have the vanilla the Casamigos has, but a little more subtle
Both very smooth.
