Did a search, but didn't find much easily. Probably been discussed here before, but I've only recently started following this board. Been making my own rubs, but I realize I'm probably not doing anything better than what a store bought can get me.

Any recommendations on all around (pork, beef, chicken) rubs to try out?

Saia's in Mandeville has a really good rub I've been using.

Bad Byron's Butt Rub is pretty solid. It doesn't have sugar in it so you can add it at your discretion.

I second Bad Byron for pork butts. Throw some turbinado cane sugar on a butt with that Bad Brad and it's money.

Famous Dave's Rib Rub works pretty good on ribs. Seems like I bought that at Walmart.

Saltgrass Steakhouse 7 Steak Spice and TexJoy makes a decent steak seasoning if you want to go away from the traditional salt and pepper on beef.

I've had decent cooks with those Webber brand seasonings. That Kick'N Chicken is pretty good.

I love Paul Prudhommes seasonings but they are a little pricey.

This stuff is pretty good, probably have to get it from the sauce or amazon.

Rufus Teague is really good. I use it on everything and it adds a little sweet and heat. Their BBQ sauce is also very solid.

Hardcore Carnivore black or red.

It tastes good, the woman who made it is hot, knows her way around meat, and enjoys bourbon as much as I do.

She's #1 on the list of people I'd leave my wife for, just don't tell her that.

Bad Byron's and Rufus Teague are both legit.

RT's "Touch of Heat" is the best BBQ sauce I've ever had.

Dizzy Pig dizzy dust for me. But I also use a bunch of their seasonings and they're all good.

I assume you are looking for a BBQ rub, but in case you're looking for a steak rub, McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning can't be beat.
