Traffic in Scott can be some shite. Pick a place on the same side of the freeway that you are traveling. They are all mostly equal.

Expensive. Sent some stuff from there for Christmas once. I think it was from there. The shipping cost as much or more than the items.

I love all The Best Stop sausages. Pork, green onion and andouille. That’s pretty much all I buy now. You can get it in a lot of grocery stores in BR now.

Puhleeeeze!
BR Cajun doesn't compare to Scott-La.
And for that matter, Ronnie's is weak sauce across the board. Jerry Lee's Hog Head Cheese is BR's one great accomplishment in Cajun fare.

stop at Ronnies on Fla Blvd. Their smoked boudin is the best in the state.
It isn't even top 5 within 5 miles.
Hell, it might be the worst boudin within 20 miles.

Everyone says this, but their smoked sausage smells like newspaper smoke. The wood is clearly smouldering rather than being at the correct temp.

I like Ronnie's boudin too, but you have to appreciate boudin with a very strong smoke.
