Driving down to BR from Natchitoches tonight with my 9 year old to catch General Will Wade & The Boys. I used to be pretty in tune with the BR food scene when I lived in the area but that's not the case any longer. Any suggestions on a good place for us to grab a quick dinner before we head into the PMAC. My son isn't too much of a picky eater so we're open to just about any suggestions.

Those are all excellent answers.
I would add Louie's Cafe to the list

This is what we did before Texas state. Parked behind torchy's, great quick dinner and walked over to the PMAC with plenty of time to spare

I'd go just for the meatball sub alone . Discounted oysters and beer doesn't hurt either.

Looks like we might be a little pressed for time. Who is most likely to get us in and out the fastest?

Assuming they don't have the lines they used to have when they first opened, Torchy's is the answer since it is short order and also due to proximity to campus.

Everything else suggested is sit-down.

Pretty sure they are still closing at 3:00. I'd probably hit up Inga's but only because I'm craving their steak sandwich right now. They close at 7 I think.

Yep, Torchy’s if pressed for time. You could always hit the original Canes if you wanted.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
After all of that we ended up just having to eat concessions at the PMAC.

Baton Rouge traffic strikes again.

I had a Papa John's pizza and my son an order of nachos. He was happy but I wasn't. I will make note of all of these suggestions and we will leave earlier next time!
