Good luck to you. I too (like some other posters) would be a little concerned with such a low calorie intake. But if your doctor says it's alright and you trust your doctor, then go for it. At 400 pounds, eating a <1,000-calorie diet will probably lead to somewhere close to 2 pounds per day weight loss (I'm guessing). My goal is ~2 pounds per week.

I am back on the grind. I was spiraling out of control and pumped the brakes. Most of the 14 pounds in the last week and a half are water weight of course, but it slowed down at about 274. It's real weight coming off again

I'm back on the low carb pain train. It's not all bad, considering most of the foods I like most are easily adapted to low carb.

Weight is coming off slowly, but can definitely tell the difference in how my clothes fit. Stole back another notch on the belt this morning.

Trying to get in the 220s before jumping back into an exercise program.
