Lent has been good to me so far.
I've learned quite a few recipes that are delicious, filling, and healthy. My favorite so far is Turkey Meatloaf with Whole oats instead of breadcrumbs.
Had a big party of the weekend. Drank my weight in Bourbon. Stupid decision.

First time entering my credentials:
325.4 / 305.6 / 205
Had my month check up at the doctor today. My first visit had my blood pressure at 136/87. Today's was 113/65.
It's amazing what a few pounds lost and a kudos from the doc can do to your confidence.

haha I know exactly what you mean man. Granted, my kudos haven't come from a doc because I don't have a personal doctor to bitch at me. My confidence booster has come from the form of attention that I get from ladies around work. The difference between how I was treated two years ago when I started this journey and now is crazy. I've apparently become a walking piece of meat at work and it's awesome. I've never had that sort of attention, ever.
Keep up the good work

I made a pact with the doctor about seeing her every month strictly for weigh ins and stuff.

My interval goal was to be <230 by March 20, so I can check that one off the list.
Next two goals are <200 by the end of June and 175 by the end of the year. I expect each one to be harder than the one before, so I'm allowing more time for the latter two. Also, I'll be a lot more busy with work starting in July - but from now till the end of June, I have plenty of time for hitting the gym, being active, etc.
Some amazing results in this thread! Great work, guys!

That number is a damn dirty lie
I had no real dinner last night as I opted to drink my dinner at the Auburn baseball game which means I'm probably also dehydrated. Bet I see a 223 tomorrow. Oh well, nice to come in under 200 again for the first time in some months I'll take it, even for only a day at the moment

I must say I had an odd experience, from Friday through Monday I didn't lose or gain anything even though I stayed strict with my 800 calories a day.
Not odd at all. I think we've all experienced those mini-plateaus before. Just wait until they last for 2 weeks instead of 5 days, then you'll really see what your willpower is made of
