If I'd quit drinking beer on the weekend it would go faster. But, I'm not sweating it. Just got to keep working out. Now that football is almost over, that should help as well.

The wife is on board as well and has dropped about 10pds. We've just been trying to eat healthier and minimize the "Bad" days.

Still no movement on the scale huh? My husband SWEARS that if he gets on the scale with his right foot first, then his left foot, it always results in a loss, rather than the other way around. So maybe you're just getting on the scale with the wrong foot first. And they say women are psycho...

Me and the misses always get in a fight(not literally) every time we both diet at the same time.
Everytime we start a diet, I go full crazy workout mode and lose weight quickly. So then she gets pissed because I lose way more than she does. So I figured this time I wouldn't give up beer and maybe we'd keep things civil.

Of course, now she gets mad at me because I'm drinking and she's not.

Ahhhhhh. That must be the problem. I go left first. I shall henceforth place the right foot on first.

Not like alcohol is loaded with calories. 145 for a normal beer and vodka has 65. The problem with vodka is the mixer.

The main problem with alcohol is that it lowers your calorie counting resistance to nil. Too many drinks and you are off to taco bell to order the entire menu.

And of course because 1, 2 or even 10 is not enough.

Best thing I did was get the wife on board. She is down 21 lbs and that is good for her and ME!

Plus if she cooks lite I eat lite. Having fattening foods in the house is a killer.

Daygo, your right.
Like I tell my lovely wife, you cook it I'll eat it. As long is it ain't liver.

It is kind of funny that on Sat morning I go run an extra 3 or so miles to make up for some of the beer I'm gonna drink.

Great now your case of the plateau has rubbed off on me and the scale has not moved since Sunday. That's ok, I'll just stay on the plan and keep going to the gym. I'm NOT HAPPY ABOUT this one bit.

It means, I have been around 215 for about 17 days.

Hmm...looked it up, I think it has actually been 14 days that I have been stuck in the 215-16 range.
