I'm not just getting home...I'm getting up

Anyway, as you all know, on Monday I realized I had gained ten pounds in 48 hours due to the first tailgate and an evening at Texas de Brazil ( ).

Not only did I lose all of that (which was mostly, as y'all said, due to an overload of salt), I lost an additional TWO lbs., while not going through any extraordinary means.

SO, the numbers:

Sat. Sept. 1, 2012-- 286/239/199
Sat. Sept. 8, 2012-- 286/237/199

The 48 hour Extended Special Edition Cadfast did its work and cleared out all of the extra water and sodium that was hanging around from the hurricane provisions.

I still have much work to be done to get the fat off that I gained the last 2 weeks but clearing 9 pounds of water was nice.

I can't do this so I have to learn how to eat around or within my many outings and activities.

I am so proud of myself last night. I went to pluckers and only drank iced tea (no alcohol). I had a chicken club salad (Lettuce, grilled chicken, bleu cheese, bacon, avocado, tomatoes and cabbage). Dressing on the side and I did not even use half of the container.

The table ordered an appetizer sampler (which is my weakness and I love all of the fried goodness) I ate one mozzarella stick and that is all. The table also ordered dessert and I had no bites (which may have never happened before in the history of my entire life). And of course every one else drank. I was DD for hubs so that helped.

I am very proud of the healthier choices I made (even though it may not be perfect) and I do not feel deprived at all.

I am going to watch the game at my brother's house tonight. He is smoking meats so I will bring veggies because he may have some not healthy sides. I will also bring herbal tea to drink.

ETA: I drink my iced tea and herbal tea with no sweetner added, not sugar or artificial. Just plain.

I have enough temptations at work. Until I get back below my panic weight, I need to keep temptations to just the office. Only so much temptation I can take before I go cookie monster on anything set in front of me.

Had some dark chocolate w/almonds this AM. Good enough to settle the sweet tooth, and is allowed occasionally on Paleo

I have pretty much zero temptations at work. I work alone and bring my own food. But I do have two restaurants, a fast food store, and a sandwich shop within walking distance. But I have a husband, four kids, brother and sis in law next door, huge family and friends, and sports so the rest of my life causes me to go cookie monster. I am trying to make healthy choices on everything (and stick to as much whole/paleo foods as possible) as opposed to trying to diet.

One of my friends swears you can blend or food process bananas that have been frozen for an hour into something of ice cream consistency. It goes from mush to yummy as long as you keep blending and scraping. I have seen pictures and want to try this soon. No additional ingredients. Just a frozen banana or two.

Yeah, I tried the frozen banana thing. Unless I did something wrong, it didn't come out very good. I swear they put up a picture of a Wendy's frosty......that is not what you end up with!

I made it through the game by stopping to get salad and fruit on the way. I had one rib, a bite of sausage and a small spoonful of broccoli rice. I ate about 10 kernels of microwave popcorn and no baked beans, chips and dip, bread or candy! I also brought herbal tea and only drank that. Still not perfect but I can live with it and I am happy. I also had fruit for breakfast and salad for lunch. By weight watchers standards I am well within my points so even the few carb things I ate are not messing up my calorie count. I will see what the scale says tomorrow morning but I weigh about 3-4 pounds less than I usually do at night. I am very OCD so I Seth morning and night even when I am not trying to do well with my eating. I always know exactly how overweight I am!

Good job Madam!

Had another 24 hour Cadfast and I was able to squeeze a little more excess water out of the system.

The first Saints game is always a planned cheat for me but I am going to try to find something tasty but Atkins friendly.

Officially back on it this morning. 1 month of slacking, and then 8 days of no power and eating out every meal because of Isaac beat me up. Gained a few pounds.

Checking in this thread definitely keeps me honest.

I'm back in too man. Although I've been in the weeds for a month and a half or so. Auburn playing like crap hasn't really helped me out with the eating and drinking on Saturdays though.

I started a night class that is three nights a week and it's really messed up my cooking and what not. I find that if I don't plan out my meals for the week that things go bad quickly. So yesterday I planned everything out and hit the grocery store.

The class has also derailed my running completely. It's going to enable me to really increase my income but it's hurting a lot of other stuff. It's only two more months though so if I can find time to run and keep at eating well things will get better.

Oh and I forgot to weight this morning but I think I'm about 258.
