back down to pre-holiday weight of 195 and going to be pushing hard to get to 189 by end of jan

I'm thinking I can do this as well, my goal anyway

I started my fast last night also then remembered I have an important meeting this afternoon so I ate a little this morning so I wouldn't be in a fog. The 5pm to 5pm would work very good, just need to figure out which day of the week would be best.

i'm going to do tues/wed. i feed the kiddos around 630ish tues so i'll eat then and then just skip the creamer in my coffee wed morning..i already skip lunch now so not a big deal. the 1130-630 is the optimal fat-burn so i'll just look forward to a nice meal when i get home.

shouldn't be too hard. only have to do it once a week and its a nice addition to what i'm already doing.

I did a 24 hour fast once, not even totally on purpose, I was just too busy and too broke to eat..

I lost 3 pounds. I wanna do it more, but that hunger is a pain.

Yeah, I don't know if it's been 24 hours but I've come kinda close to doing this a couple times in the past few months.

Started a juice fast at beginning of Dec at 240, did good up to the mid part of the month. Kept juicing but ate some too, most of it was good eating.

Started back the juice fast on the 1st and am down to 217 today. Going to go through Jan and may then decide to continue through Feb as well.

I did a 3 day fast at the beginning of last year.

It started out because I was so full I couldn't eat from a New Years binge. Then I just kept going.

Day 1 - No hunger at all because I ate about 7 days of peas and rice with sausage in 3 days.

Day 2 - No hunger during the day but I woke up with hunger pangs but fell back asleep and wasn't hungry on day 3.

Day 3 - No real hunger. I only stopped because I read on several sites that some people could faint after 72+ hours of fasting.

I had to drive around and decided it wasn't smart to drive my car with even a slim chance of passing out so I ended the fast at 72 hours.

I really wish I could have kept going just to see how far I could go. Other than the second night hunger pangs, it was a piece of cake.

323/173.3/165

I've had two mediocre diet days after 4 flawless days. I didn't eat anything bad but just too much.

My brain almost had me convinced to get pizza for the Saints game but the Office Competition kept me from cheating.

Ouch. Having to go to those places and not picking up something shows some good willpower.

Keep up the good work. Not nice that they would ask you to pick up that crap.

The carb cravings will really go away at some point. You just need to fight until that day comes.

Carbs make you crave more carbs.

When I cheat, I end up eating until I explode because the second I switch back to the carb engine, my body SCREAMS for more.

I was a bit of a raving hunger fiend last night. I ate way too many calories but they were at least all Atkins friendly.

Somehow still lost some weight this morning.

172.2

11.7 pounds lower than last Monday morning.

and this

the times i've said screw it and eaten say a pack of m&ms..they are good but 20 minutes later i'm very nauseated from the sudden sugar onset. that helps me with cravings..i know if i eat that handful of m&ms i'll regret it shortly..that helps me avoid that trap.

some of myth's 11 lbs are water i'm sure..but so what? i look better when i'm not bloated from water so sticking with low carbs also has the benefit that your body will always look as lean as possible.

oh still at 195..i had a little too much fun last night i have the eating under control until women start trying to force shots on me..i'm paying the price today...was planning to be 194 to start the week..i still got a shot at it if i behave today.

Probably almost all water.

I've been in ketosis for about a week now so I imagine most of the water has been flushed out.

I'm still 9 pounds from my low. If I can get through tomorrow night without doing anything silly like ordering 14 pizzas I should be able to cruise through this week.

i'm going to be VERY good this week..my fast will be tues-wed so i should have a good weigh-in wed morning. i'm going to keep the 1-day fast going through the end of feb and see if that helps me finally break the 190 plateau once & for all.

Staying away from Johnny's pizza and 16oz ribeyes might also help you get under 190.

Me too. I'll be rejoining on Jan. 12th -- after Mr. CT gets back to Brazil. Damage control is gonna suck.

made it through a hellacious weekend with no cheating. week 1 down

350/343/250

Only lost 7 pounds on atkins induction 1st week. I know I did not drink near enough water this weekend. Hoping week 2 brings about more results...

7 pounds in a week is more than enough to be thrilled about dude.

Most people lose around 1 to 2 pounds a week tops.

I only lost so much from last week because it was all water because I gain a zillion pounds when I eat lots of sodium.

I'm a bit grumpy today because my weight jumped up 1.6 pounds for no reason. I had a few extra calories yesterday but 1900 calories shouldn't cause a 1.6 pound increase.

I know it is water shifting around but it still makes me grumpy. It needs to go away by Wednesday for the Office weigh-in.
