I love Seinfeld. Yeah it didn't stay in his car, leather seats so it didn't soak into the seating.

Two big goals coming up...50 lbs lost and 215 on the scale. I hope to hit both before I leave for the beach for a week on the 30th.

I was so close to 50 pounds also, I'll get it soon. The exercise may make me lose slower but I feel better and I can tell it's working quickly. Eventually the scale will catch up.

Food is NOT to be used as a reward while dieting. Go to a movie, get a new shirt, etc. Food rewards are what got us here in the first place.

If you'd stop drinking swamp water . . . .
it is brackish (contains salt)

all the parasites and bacteria in swamp water might actually aid in weight loss. you might be on to something.

First full week of sit-ups and push-ups.

YOWZA!

If interested, for push-ups, do 15, rest and stretch for 30 seconds, 15 more, repeat rest, then until failure (until you can't do any more for the 3rd set)

Got this off a workout website and I see physical and stamina-related progress in 7 days.

Good luck to everyone on the health!

I just started doing push-ups. I was doing girly push-ups last November but now I can actually do real push-ups. Not many, but real push-ups.

Mystery solved

I'm eating a lot more than I thought. I made a serious calculation error back when I switched from boneless thighs back to bone-in skin-on.

For the last couple of months I have been eating about 150 to 450 calories more per day than I thought. Whoops.

That's the great thing.

Do 3 sets to failure. If you can do two, fine, 22, fine.

Do three sets with the last to failure. The numbers in the previous post are on average. You have to mend them for your body type.
