Hulk, I have to stop talking to you. Your bad luck is rubbing off on me. I have torn up two lawnmowers in ten days, the pond pump went out and the UV filter light went out. So today I played Mrs. Fix-it. There was a lot of sweating and cussing going on over here.

20 mile ride killed me. Getting in shape is not fun.

First one - self-propeller broke $150 to repair

Second one - hit a piece of wire, screwed up blade and can't get it started. Not sure what this one is going to cost. Ah, the joys of summertime.

Sorry I'm the harbinger of bad luck.

official weekly check-in

266.6/220.8/190

Lost 3.8 this week, which is the best week I've had since early May. Of course, with a 4 day camping trip this weekend, I have a feeling next week's weigh-in won't be so pleasant.

I didn't read the link. Are hot dogs, hamburgers, pancakes, and s'mores considered primal?

The switch to weight watchers kicked back in some good weight loss. Switching it up also keeps me from getting too bored, which is good for my psyche. Every time I eat a sandwich, i feel like I' cheating but don't have to feel guilty.

Man o man, a sandwich would be so nice.

Once I reach my final goal I will be adding fruits and grains back into the mix.

Atkins was just a tool for me, not a permanent way of life.

323/174.2/165

174! Wow. It has been a very very very very long time since I was 174.

I think I can get through most of this weekend without trouble, but I do plan to mow down 2 hot dogs fully loaded on July 4th. My last hot dog was a July 3rd celebration last year.

Me too. Probably like 10th grade, and I'm 41 now.
