I put on a 3x undershirt.. used to be REALLY tight on me and the bottom of my belly would show at the bottom of the shirt.. I put one on just now not thinking about it and it fits me like a damn t-shirt, loose and comfortable.
I want to try on a 2x tshirt again pretty soon, I haven't worn one comfortably in about 2 years so I don't think I'm ready for that yet.. But I think I want to get below 330 first. 330 is a pretty big marker for me.. This time last year I weighed in at a "biggest loser" competition my apartment complex at the time had, I weighed in at 334. So I've already lost in 2 months what I gained in a year.

nope. My vehicle's AC doesn't blow cold so when it's hot, I'm usually pretty drenched in sweat by the time I get to work since I live about 30 minutes away from work.
Stuck at 335 now. Am I really going to have to wait 1 1/2 weeks to lose 3 pounds at a time?

Not really. Come a mile and I'm pretty spent. It's not easy moving 335 pounds for a mile, much less longer :P

one step at a time....you can do it....

You can surprise yourself Hulk.
In February/March of this year, I was sub 300 and walked 3 half marathons (including Sedona AZ with muthaforking hills that killed me). Took me a few months (Xmas forward) to build up to that distance, but it can be done. (ofcourse I acknowledge another 30 pounds or so makes a difference).
When I started 'training', 2 miles pretty much floored me.

Hey guys,
This is not about weight loss, but I feel close to some of the folks in this thread and just wanted to let you know how blessed I was last night.
I'm not sure how closely you followed the storms that hit Alabama yesterday, but the largest tornado which destroyed part of Tuscaloosa, Pleasant Grove, Northeast Birmingham, etc and killed 100+ went directly over my small town of Trussville. The tornado, which at times was over a mile wide, was on the ground from Mississippi to Rome, Ga. The only time that it left the ground was when it jumped directly over my little town.
I not only feel blessed, but even a little guilty and confused. We didn't even lose power.

Wow, thanks for letting us know. Happy you're okay

Wow, glad to see you are ok.
Guys leave Hulk alone, you have no idea of his conditioning. 3 to 5 miles would have killed me at his weight. Hell, even now I can't walk more than 2 without being so tired I need a nap in the middle of the street.
Your conditioning has nothing to do with his. He is getting some exercise but 3-5 miles would burn him out and we would never see him here again.
Slow and steady, this isn't a race.
Oh!
Cad
191.1 back to my low.

?? I was not trying to pick on him in anyway, I was simply illustrating an example that small baby steps can mushroom. Also that very large people can progressively condition themselves. Not today, not overnight, not tomorrow or next week.

And me too (and it did when I was 340 a decade ago). I started walking around the block and it knocked my arse out for the rest of the day. It did that for weeks but progressively got easier as my legs strengthened etc...
I neve said he was slacking; I never said he should push more then he is comfortable. I simply told him there is a light in the tunnel and that very large people (like me; like him) can progressively strengthen and add more.

Dude, chill. I never said it did.

Who said it is a race? My lord, I tried to show that a commitment to walking can show improvement and results (which is no different then saying a commitment to dieting can show results). Did I say he should go out now and kill himself?
