IDK I imagine it'd be kinda windy on them. You live in N.O. or BR?

Have been hitting the gym with abandon this week, got 3 more of my co-workers to join. Haven't had to go alone yet this week! Much funner with friends..Getting more and more comments about losing weight, have dropped 2 sizes and even had to buy new scrubs, yay! Drug out my trusty bike that I haven't looked at in 2 years, got my dad to give it a tune up and I'm going to add it into the rotation. Can see more tone and definition, so even though I am still losing weight, I am adding muscle too. Started tanning too, I am so ready for summer to get here!

226.2/190.4/140 1/3/11

Down almost 36 pounds!

Everyone is doing fantastic.

323/194.8/185

After one freaking month of hell, I have finally reached a new low. I pray I don't immediately hop back on another plateau.

I have a crawfish boil next Saturday which will hit me with a mess of sodium bombs so I need to have a great week leading up to the boil.

I remember reading somewhere that foods that have a high potassium content can help negate the negative effects of too much sodium (which seems rather odd given that it's in the same column on the periodic table, but hey I'm not a chemist/nutritionist)

At any rate if this is true here is a website with a list of some potassium rich foods. I'd research what I said first though.

LINK

A lot of these are pretty common and tasty.

pissed too many people off with his "vs" threads on the movie board so he was banned for months, came back, did the same thing so he was banned again and now he has been gone for a long long long time.

More actor vs actor but it got ridiculous. Plus he used to bump threads so he would have 5 or 6 on the front page. Didn't bug me but he is the most hated poster on the movie board.

Any other suggestions for some healthy snacks around the office? I've seen a lot of people mention trail mix but I have a tough time finding one without sunflower seeds and I have an allergic reaction there. It's either that or they throw some stupid candy like m&m's in there.

I've been keeping a couple of bananas around and some PB to put on it. (yeah I know, not the lowest fat thing in the world but in moderation I think it will be ok)

Around here fat is a welcome thing, it's the carbs that we don't like!

I keep a big tub of shelled peanuts in my desk and when I get hungry I grab a handful or two and pop those in my mouth. Usually that + water sates my hunger til it's lunchtime or time to go home.

Sorry to hear it, CAD.

Here is a hint from Heloise (me). I dilute my salad dressings like caesar and bleu cheese with water. It takes less to cover a salad, and you don't get as many calories.

Also, is anyone on Atkins having a problem with leg cramps? I keep getting charlie horses at night. Had to start taking potassium supplement.

I eat spinach salad once or twice a day so no cramping in my legs. A tip I got from Popeye. True story.
