Does anyone have a recommendation for a running shoe?
The store I go to does not have Riders or Pegasus. I can not wear Asics, NB, Brooks, Saucony all are too wide.
I usually can only wear a Nike, Adidas, or Mizuno due to width issues.
Just need a neutral cushioned only. If I have any pronation control it hurts my MCL.

just saw where you replied yesterday about running (flat) on the treadmill. Run at a slight incline. Will help with splints

I'm not a runner, but I learned something from a guy who runs marathons full time.
I was working out in asics and having problems with my feet hurting when running, jumping, etc. He said always buy your workout shoes 1/2-1 size bigger than you wear. Your feet swell when running, if they fit when you start they will be too tight before you're done. The second thing he said was try on the shoe on both feet, if any part of your arch touches the bottom of the shoe then try on something else. So I listened, and I think I had to try on twenty pair before I found one that didn't. Mine were under armour micro G assert 6's, in an 11 (I have big feet for a girl

That's actually really good advice. I learned that lesson.
It's miserable.

Give me a step by step...I'm attempting my first boil this weekend.
Posted on 4/12/17 at 10:12 am to Lazy But Talented
Sorry, I'm no pro.... for me
Step 1: see my local bar is boiling crawfish this weekend
Step 2: bike to that bar
Step 3: tell old island dude that's always cooking out on the patio I want some...
Step 4:.... well you see where this is all going...

Was wondering how much crawfish you actually ate this weekend... and better yet, how did you get rid of it so fast
Posted on 4/12/17 at 11:40 am to oleyeller
over Saturday/Sunday prob about 5-6 lbs.... really what go mt was the beer bloat I think. I started having beers at about 1:00 and was steady drinking till about 10:00. Getting rid of it I've done nothing different than what I've been doing. 3 hard boiled eggs for breakfast, couple cans of plain tuna for lunch, 6 mile bike in the afternoon, and sensible dinner (usually baked chicken or tilapia). Oh and tons... and I mean TONS of water and zero calorie green tea during the day...think I really flushed myself out.

I think my scale is way way wrong
I added weight, okay understandable. But, here is the issues.
Weighed more with clothes than without
Weighed more after a workout than before
Belt is looser have gone down 1 full inch on the notches this week, but weigh more
So I am thinking my scale is wrong or I am retaining some water. Again the weight doesn't matter, as look and feel is important thing, but just find it somewhat strange.
I do plan on blowing my diet this weekend though, as it has been since March 1 since I have had any of the following
Fried food
Cookies
Cake
Ice Cream
Pizza
Coke/Dr Pepper/Sweet Tea (all I have drank is either milk or water)
Hot Dogs

Losing fat, adding muscle.
I have said it before. Ditch the freaking scale! Is the number what is important to you? Or losing inches in your belt and looking better?

well you should weigh more with clothes than without, I've read clothes can weigh a few pounds...sometimes up to 7!!! And I always weight more after a workout than before.. can't say I know why?
Also, looks like you and I had the same lent. I always give up my nemesis and main vice fried food. My fiance gave up sweets and I decided to double down and do that with her.
I'm breaking the fast by frying up a ton of shrimp and my homemade cajun battered fries... also I'm told there will be a cheesecake!
....God help me

I miss being in Louisiana to break Lent.
I always thought you weighed less after a cardio session than before. But I know I need to start hammering the 64 oz water daily, I somewhat slipped on that this week and think I am retaining more of it.
After Lent I will try to keep same thing going, but I will reward myself with Fast Food or pizza once a week (Sundays).

Posted on 4/12/17 at 12:12 pm to oleyeller
I just slipped, I actually think that is what made me shred so much initially along with the startup, I was drinking 80 oz a day
