It wasn't pretty

Was in a hurry and didn't evenly distribute the cheese. Filled a craving though

Joe tends to have long podcasts, and I expected that. I really dig the history behind it all. The documented cases in Boston Mass - the German Scientists before WWII. I dig it. They even wrote books about "curing" diabetes in the 1920s. They had a general idea of what was going on. WWII kinda whacked us into our current trend.

Officially on the keto train. I've done lazy low carb off & on for a year, and lost 35 lbs with the combo of IF & LC. I've never really tracked macros. IF was an easy way to maintain/lose without trying. I feel like I'm in mild mourning about having to give it up, as ridiculous as that sounds.

I want to lose a little more, and definitely don't want to gain, so I calculated my macros & started tracking today. Here's to hoping this is kinder on my body.

My stomach definitely shrunk on RFL. I didn't eat much last night so I woke up hungry af. I made my normal grits and eggs that would sometimes not satisfy me before, but I'm stuffed like a tick right now.. I'm not used to this. I'm kinda happy about it though

Yea i severely under estimated what it would due to my appetite. I know the other day when I post that sushi most thought it was a lot of food and it was as it was 10 full rolls so 60 pieces total. But honestly even last year when I had gotten down to 181 pounds, I could smoke that and still go for more. I could barely finish it this time and it took everything I had to do so to the point i was miserable and just went to sleep.

I didn't do any cardio yesterday because we got a new bed in and had to go home for lunch and let them install it and then last night had to essentially put the room back together and help m wife get the bed ready. Didn't sleep worth a shite last night as Im not used to the bed so slept right through my alarm for morning cardio.

Last night I had some grilled shrimp with some veal i just sauteed in a cast iron skillet. shite was off the chain. Great change of pace from chicken and more chicken.

oh and woke up at 188 this morning.

Last night

I fell apart

Everything was good. I was prepping yard bird for the rest of the week. Saw halo top in the freezer..had a bite, put it back...grabbed it ate the whole thing. After that it was on and I couldn't stop. Ended up eating over 150 carbs in a matter of 30 minutes. It was weird.

Goal weight of 204.9 by February 1st ain't gonna happen I guess.

ETA: What's the best way to recover from this? Fast until dinner? Grab my 2lb of chicken breast and hope for the best?

#carbtriggered

I had a pint of HT last night and that really made me feel bloated and fat as well. I'm glad I decided to try to slowly transition into other foods rather than blowing my body up all at once.. because I started feeling sick last night.

I always kinda shrugged off the idea of sugar or carbs being addicting, but man I couldn't stop last night. It was unreal.

Ugh. That is not a fun feeling. The frenzy. I was bulimic once upon a time in my early 20s, so I have to be careful about drastic/restrictive diets.

What's the verdict on pulled pork/Boston butt? Thinking about going to sweet daddy's in Covington for lunch. I assume as long as I don't put any sauce on it I'll be fine

Very keto-friendly meat. Extremely high fat content.

I really just wanted the boudin king cake. Well the vultures at work destroyed it. But once you're in the room, they kept calling me!

fast for 36 hours would be best but outside of that just get back on the diet. minor setback.
