Not going to. Calories are too low and activity level to high to get many ketones on the strip. You are burning all of them for energy.

Last day tomorrow.

Low carb feasting all weekend.

Then either 1900cals on keto or back to 1300 psmf. Can't decide. Last few days I've been hungrier and hungrier.

Recently bailed on Keto for a more low-carb diet. Goal is to keep it below 100g per day. Only carbs come from green veggies, sweet potatoes, and about 30g white rice I eat before training.

I train jiu jitsu for 1-2 hours a day and lift for 45 min. My energy levels just werent the same without having some sort of carb before training - I was exhausted after maybe 1 or 2 rounds, when I used to be able to go 5-6 rounds no problem.

Damn! How?

How are you feeling? Are you feeling leaner? Maybe muscle growth with fat loss?

Diet hasn't been as tight these last few days.

Feel and look good. Except for today because I had a little bit of carbs last night. I sinned.

Ton of cardio today and strict on the food today and I should be back down tomorrow I think.

it happens. I am up this week too and i have been strict on the diet but not as much on the cardio. But I have lost quite a bit on the waist so not sure whats going on.

I know Lyle talks about the whoosh effect on his blog. Essentially the fat starts changing, get squishy and lumpy and starts holding more water. This usually happens right before it goes away and you usually gain weight for a few days with the extra water the fat cells are holding.

some people on the rapid fatloss diet don't lose anything after the first week until the end of week 4 where all of the sudden they lose 12 lbs in like 2 or 3 days. Just have to keep the right mindset and stay consistent.

just out of curiosity, how long had you been going the keto route? It's incredibly tough to transition to while continuing to be extremely active. Most things I have read have said you need anywhere from 2-6 months to get fully fat adapted before you don't have issues with adding in exercising.

Being that you're already involved in training, that is a really tough transition to attempt to do, so it's understandable. That said, if you'd just kick someone's arse in the first two rounds, you wouldn't have to worry about the transition!

2 months exactly. If I saw any improvement I would've stuck with it but I wasn't getting anywhere. Plus, even at 80-100g of carbs, I could still be in Ketosis for all I know (I don't use ketostix or blood measurements).

I will report back later today how I feel after eating 40g of white rice + 10gBCAA before training. I imagine I will burn that quickly during training, and then when I break the fast post training, I will be set.

I probably should've mentioned I'm on the leangains schedule. 16 hour fast, 10gBCAA before noon training, first meal is at 1:30pm

Still not quite back to where I was pre-sick. But I honestly have been a little loose with eating since being sick. Not eating too much, but eating out for lunch b/c I didn't cook ahead and such. Convenience eating.

My entire body is about to get so thin!!

Really, that makes sense. I've noticed it as I've lost over the past year. That as I lose, parts of me have gotten softer and lumpier before they go away. It makes me feel like I'm getting fatter when I feel or see it. I'm thinner now than I've ever been as an adult, but it tricks my brain when parts seem softer than they were when I was heavier. I remind myself that it's temporary when it happens.

Scale hasn't moved for me this week either. I knew after that initial 12 lbs it would slow but didn't expect it to stop. I've been on point this week

Just gonna do some extra cardio and maybe will have a slight loss by Saturday
