Every hour on the hour I'll go piss and then fill up my bottle of water. Like clockwork.

I've been doing his form of the anabolic diet half-heartedly the past couple weeks
How is it working??

From what I read so far it sounds like
Keto M-F
High carb no fat Sat-Sun?
Is that right?

That sounds like my life already. Huh.

I've been doing that too. Mon-Fri is pretty good, then the train goes off the rails.
I already know it's going to be completely off the track Saturday night at 8pm.

How many regulars in this thread fall off the train on the weekends???

Football season is tough. I don't fall off completely though. I'm usually holding for dear life. Thank god for these upper body #gainz.
Those miller lites (3.2 carbs per 12 oz) start flowing and it'll put me over my carb limit on Saturdays for sure.

I try not to fly way off the rails but I typically drink during games. A beer, a couple of whiskeys, and I log all of it and account for it in my calories.. if the game is particularly hard to watch (re: auburn vs lsu) I may wind up drinking too much and then drunken eating commences and bad things happen.

Not so much a fall, as a diving leap, when it's going 80 mph and I've got a cigg hangin out muh mouth and a beer in both hands.

So I've been trying to maintain pretty strict keto until Thanksgiving to right the ship. Still crush halo top regularly though.
I don't cheat with beer though. I'll drink whiskey all day long. I'm just a sucker for bread and desserts.

I guess I'm different because I take it to the top level by competing
I have to diet, super strict, 24/7 for 7 months
Taking a weekend off or taking off on a business trip is not an option for me...
I can't even think about eating 99% of what you guys eat on a keto diet
But you guys are doing it, getting results, and I'm proud of y'all
One day, I'll retire for competing and join you guys.
I enjoy seeing you guy's food pics
Keep it up

I'll weigh in Friday.
Started all this on January 27th at a little less than 240.
I was under 205 lbs on 10/8/16, although not sure what my exact weight is. I had clothes and shoes on, and had just worked out (it was early in the morning so no food in me).
The #Pain has been worth it. Also, the train is pretty fun. I've always wanted the power of a locomotive.

yeah.. most of us are/were fat fricks who just want to be reasonably healthy. I like lifting weights and I like losing weight but there's no way I would want to do it for a competition.

I like being healthy and losing weight, but when I'm at 200-205 or 215-220, people tell me all the time, "you look the same at either weight" it's annoying that people don't recognize the weight loss
Maybe if I went down to 190 or so they could tell?

That's how I got started
I was the fat kid, couldn't get girls, etc...
Got real sick in the summer of 2007, lost about 55 pounds in 2 months (went from 195 to 140)
My cousin got me into weight lifting
I started putting on muscle, getting into shape, and started getting dates.
I let it get to my head and wanted more... got into bodybuilding/powerlifting... loved the results, loved the training, loved pushing myself to limits I never knew existed, and loved the hot women I was pulling...
Now I just do it because I want to be the best.. because I know I can do better and I want to push myself passed my limits

I said the same thing too,,, never say never

Yeah I decided to start taking care of myself this year starting to lift.
I've changed my diet 100% but i haven't lost much weight which makes no sense, albeit I'm not big, just have a little stubborn stomach fat. I can't lie though, I feel and look way better.
Gotta expect year 2 of dedicated lifting will bring mad gainz.

Tough to really say since I haven't followed it the way I should. I plan to starting Monday thru the rest of the year 100% so I'll know more in a few weeks. I refuse to just wait till New Years and use the "holidays" excuse

Close. Gregory combined parts of the anabolic diet with IF. You still eat within the 8 hr window everyday. Low carb during the week - typically a protein and a veggie. But not keto, though, as you have a mini "carb spike" at the end of each weeknight with a fruit - usually banana, and peanut butter. Saturday Sunday (or Friday Saturday) you usually do a "cheat meal" both nights. Not necessarily low fat, high carb. Just whatever you're craving without going too far overboard
ETA: he's also a big fan of lunges as a primary form of conditioning. 400m 4-5 days a week. I'm still working my way up to that
