Had pumpkinator last year and I would rather drink monkey piss. And I am a huge st arnold supporter...just not and enjoyable beer
pumpkinator and endevour are the only 2 beers st arnolds makes that are worth a shite.

I really enjoy their Lawnmower, Weedwacker and Santo.

Umm, DR12 was hand crafted by Gawd.

I consider the rest of their lineup to be a step up from Abita at the least.

Yes it was, but he made it a little hot, and I wasn't crazy enough about it to cellar some until it cooled off.

My haul a buddy of mine picked up yesterday at specs. Limit 1 pumpkinator per/customer. Cant wait to get my other nine Pumpkinators from my informant in Baton Rouge
I was a fan of the Lawnmower and Spring Bock, so i wanted to give some other Saint Arnolds a try.
looking forward to friday night to try zee pumpkin

Yep. Lawnmower ranks up there with Amnesia IPA. It's awful. Oktoberfest and Christmas Ale are drinkable, but that's about it.

Speaking of Christmas Ale...does anyone know when these beauties come out?

Got lucky at Callandros on seigan today. Walked in and asked guys if they had some, said no sold out. Guy there overheard and said shipment coming in an hour. Waited about 30 mins and five cases come in, wasn't greedy and just grabbed three bombers. Thanks to whoever that guy was, stuff is great!
I can confirm that they have more......and now less since I have been there.
Met a random guy yesterday while looking who wanted me to let him know when I found some...guess this is how. He referenced this thread. Wonder if he is just a lurker.

Good grief
The rest of their line up is hardly bad. It's not all wild fermented sours or huge IPAs, stouts, or Belgians, but they have a solid line up. I'm not a huge fan of it all but wouldn't turn down any of it.
I look forward to their Octoberfest and Christmas Ale

It's hardly good either. Lawnmower is
Of course you wouldn't turn down any. You went Blue Moon-Shiner-Corona the other day. By comparison, Saint Arnold is a step up.

Only you can answer that. Everyones beer tastes are different and now that you are venturing into craft beer, you can compare different ones. 6 mos from now after you have had different ones you will be able to judge those better.

I understand that. As my taste becomes more refined i guess...
Even now though, i dont turn my nose up at the macro brews. Except coors. I hate that shite.

I still like Lawnmower. It isn't a beer that I keep in the rotation, but I wouldn't
over it.
Guess life's to short for some.

Not particularly. However, I've had Reissdorf Kolsch from Germany, and it was really good. Saint Arnold Fancy Lawnmower is no Reissdorf.

I tried picking up this beer earlier in the week with no luck. my store said they didn't get much and what they got was sold out within a couple of hours. oh well; I'll try again next year.

In BR? Might might want to check Mathernes on Bluebonnet. Said they were hoping to get theirs in today....no clue what time.
