Really looking in to this. Was always set on a trager but I have heard good things about these. Thanks for the post.

I had a smaller treager and bought an Austin xl on clearance for the larger size. It’s every bit as good as a treager and feels like the metal is thicker.

I don’t know anything about them, but there were multiple models of Pit Boss pellet smokers in the Academy store today.

Buddy who had a traeger just bought one of these pit bosses and he says it's better than the traeger so far. Also superior build quality.

I’m sure some will shite on these. I did at first. I have a Camp Chef at my house. Brother in law saw a Pit Boss on sale last year at WalMarx and we pulled the trigger for our deer camp.
Two of the best briskets I’ve done were off of that damn thing! It is a really solid pellet grill and is a beast for us at the camp.

A similar, but 30% smaller Rec Teq is $1,200. Sure, they're a better pellet grill, but not if you have to pay $800 extra dollars to get 70% of the cooking area.
