Looking around for a bone-in Prime Rib Roast. Anyone see them around Baton Rouge lately? Didn't see any at Costco a week ago, but hoping they stock up soon.

They got a few. I'd bet later this week they will have all different sizes. Last year this whole row was different size rib roasts.

this is the way.
Headed there tomorrow. Last day via ad but I would bet they extend it again.
If for some reason they are out I am headed to Rouse but theirs is select.
Costco one seems to be 2x expensive.
This year I am doing a meat church recipe.

Saw some at Denham Walmart yesterday. They were about 50.00. Forgot to check the lbs though. I have to run by there after work today so I'll take a look again.

Got two at WD the day they went on sale. Got some nice steaks out of them and the oldest discovered the joy of beef ribs... and I lost out on my yearly beef rib snack...

How early would you buy one if you wanted to cook it on Sunday? I imagine if I bought it now and didn't want to freeze it, it is too early.

I stopped by rouses and what they had was select. Didnt seem worth it the ones they had didnt look that great. Was hoping they at least had choice.

Will be more than fine to buy rn. We do a 2 day salt brine in the fridge which will start Thursday. We eat ours Christmas Eve.
Bought two more for the freezer though. One boned, that well cut into ribeyes and put in freezer and another bone in for whenever down the road the next couple months.
