I don't look at prices when I buy food.

Nevertheless, for $11, you get alot of food with the caniac.

They don't have fast food prices, but for the food you get the price is on point with most lunch places.

Never thought I'd see the day Popeyes would be cheaper than other chicken joints

How many tenders are in the Caniac?

I'm not a chicken tender girl, but I've seen tender platters at casual sit-down restaurants that have 9-12 tenders, 1-2 sides, and a sauce for $10-$12.

You're right though. It kinda comes out the same. We did at least 10 tenders plus 2 sides at Dempseys, but I just looked at similar places and it varies. WalkOns is tenders, fries, and sauce for $9.99.. but Masons is a measly 4 tenders with fries for $12.

What the hell? 9-12 tenders should comfortably feed 3-4 adult men. The Caniac comes with 6 I believe and any more would be glutinous the way you feel after eating

It's the skinny "fingers".. doesn't Cane's do that now too?

But yes, the platter I'm thinking of is massive. I used to warn customers that it was large. You have to be careful with that, though, because some people have huge appetites and if you tell them it is too much food to eat alone and then they polish it off just fine, you just called them fat

4 in a box
6 in a caniac

With drink, fries and toast the prices are on par if not cheaper than if you ate out anywhere else.

And yet this board bitches and bitches and bitches about Canes being too expensive. It is perfectly in line with other fast food. I have learned that if you start a successful chain restaurant business by starting in Baton Rouge this board will hate you to the bone
