Meeting with a wedding photographer tonight off of esplanade... The lady says they have good burgers... Place any good? No time to research.... Just got on the road. Thanks

Yes, people will say it's overrated, but I love it.
One of my favorite places when I go home.

burgers are great, sauteed mushrooms are great...monsoons are great.....waiting for a table sucks

Good burger. Sometimes it comes into question, but only when people want to argue that it's hands down the best burger in New Orleans.

Anything in particular to try?

They're pretty good...not great.
Believe it or not, their filet is really good.

Good burgers...you may have to wait..the place is crowded and a shite hole,...not sure it's somewhere I'd want to have a meeting of sorts

It's for after the meeting.... Just to grab a beer and some grub for the rude home...

I used to live across the street from POC many years ago and spent a lot of time there. They used to have about five or six tables in a room on the Dauphine St. side with white tablecloths where you could get a charbroiled steak dinner. Not sure if it's still there but you might ask about it.

good burgers...ignore the roaches and rats, they are just there to dine as well.

Usually grab a drink or two at Buffa's while waiting

Get a monsoon. They're extra good on an empty stomach.

I washed my hands of them after they got rid of the $2.50 32 oz draft Budweiser.

Like he said, everything is great but the wait. My secret is to grab a spot at the bar depending on how many people are with you. Monsoon with a bacon, mushroom cheeseburger with fully loaded potato. Man and there ain't much better

Have a monsoon. Elevates the status of the burger. Hope you like butter. They put a stick on the baked potato.

That's why I always liked that baked potato.

I haven't gone there in like 10 years. They had a pretty good filet, bake potato, and caesar salad for $23. Do they still do that? Was a hell of a deal.
