Have a couple of pork loins that I'd like to put in the crockpot. Anyone have a favorite? Not a big fan of crockpot BBQ.... I'm leaning towards this unless someone has something better: LINK

TIA.

Pork tenderloins make the best rice and gravy. Tie the two together, brown in a magnelite pot, put in the oven to bake...

Make a bacon weave
Slather Dijon mustard on the tenderloin
Wrap loin in bacon wrap
Place potatoes in pot around the loin (if you want potatoes)
Cover with mushrooms
Sprinkle Cajun/creole seasoning on top of everything.Add a little rosemary if you like that flavor.

I like to thicken the juice before serving. I use xanthan gum.

Serve over rice if desired.

Just use the Mississippi Roast recipe. Add some brown sugar to the Ranch/Gravy mix.

I've not seen it with French Onion Soup mix in it. The recipes I've had have the package of au jus in them. I'd use one of those and swap the au jus for a package of pork gravy mix. Here's the recipe I've had.

Do you cut the peppers before adding them or leave them whole? I've read both.

Whatever your preference. Sometimes, I add the whole and sometimes, I buy the sliced and throw those in. It's a pretty lax recipe.

I prefer the Pioneer Woman Italian drip beef recipe, personally.

Thanks. I've never had this before and I've been meaning to try it. I hadn't considered using the pork loins for it.

If you use the Mississippi Pot Roast recipe, we always dice up an onion and add mushrooms and a little beef broth to make a little extra gravy. I've never sliced the peppers or used any pre-sliced

Followed this one. Only additions were an onion and a couple of dashes of worcestershire sauce. Awesome.
