How the hell can an item that is so popular and has made national news not be at every single location ASAP to sell the crap out of it. Also, how can you have them at some Dallas locations and not others? WTF is that about.
See:
Real Coke
Beany Babies
Coors, before it went national
Gas in the 70s

Well I would agree with that in a vacuum, for a non-edible good.
If you are going to make a claim that a product is going national on a certain date, then it should be at every location.
Scarcity doesn't create demand for fast food in my book. Scarcity for Nintendos for Xmas is one thing; scarcity of a chicken sandwich is another.
I just went to a well known sandwich shop and had a great one Sunday; haven't decided if i'll trek to a 3rd popeyes to get a sandwich (it could be good but that seems like a lot of work). If I'm in the area already I may stop in but won't go out of my way again

We’ve finally got them around here. I’m in line about to try my first. I’m so excited.

I’ve had this sandwich several times and it’s great. Chick fil a tips the scale though. Mainly due to service. Ordered one last night and they didn’t seal the bag. Luckily I did right after I got it. Popeyes is so slow. I’ll honestly say it’s a tie. Prefer CFA because of service.

We need an app to help locate these elusive things.

Well that was a let down. In typical Popeyes fashion they screwed something up. Did not put the first pickle on this sandwich, which I think would have helped a lot. Or some lettuce. This thing is just a too crispy (hard) chicken breast on some bread with too much sauce on it. I would much rather the ole chicken strip poboy that they 86’ed. I’ll give it another shot, at another location and see if I change my mind. But as of now my opinion is over hyped and below CFA.
Eta- I just called to inquire about my lack of Pickles (and napkins and spork for my mashed potatoes). Her response “oh we out of puckles”. frickin Popeyes man smh

I would rather the chicken strip poboy 100 times over that piece of shite I just attempted to eat.

Sounds like your issue is with the poultry frying engineer/sandwich assembly specialist rather than the sammich itself.

Absolutely. That’s why I’m not writing the sandwich off. I will try it again at some other location and hope for a better result.

First time I got one they forgot the pickles too (or were out). I still enjoyed it though. The next one I got had pickles and it does add to it quite a bit. I like that the pickles are thick and not your average crinkle cut hamburger pickles.
