Manager at Goverment location served me and I asked him how many of these they sell a day and he said its all anyone gets now.
Dude said sometimes they go through 150-175 a day

Reminds me, I got my last one at the Scott location a few weeks ago, when I pulled up there was a guy parked like he had been told to pull up. Drive thru line was long so I went inside, a couple minutes later he came in, pissed off, with Popeyes corporate on speaker phone, wanting to have a 3 way conversation between corporate, himself, and the manager.
His issue? His dumbass had ordered three 16-piece spicy boxes, all dark. He couldn't understand why Popeyes, on a Tuesday, didn't have 48 pieces of spicy dark meat chicken on the racks ready to go and had to cook his order fresh. Manager basically told him they could give him all the spicy dark they had ready to go at that time and he's still be having to wait on about 35 more pieces, he didn't understand this

Just had another. Best one yet. Perfectly moist breast. The bun was even slightly charred in the butter but not burnt which is the perfect way to have it. Nice crunch when you take a bite.
Had to wait 10 minutes in line but well worth it. And LaQuinta at the window wished me a blessed weekend.

FYI: Popeyes in the Detroit Airport doesn’t have this yet. I had to get the Chick Fil-a version. It was better than I remember, but not as good.

I love Popeyes and eat it about 4 times per year but the chicken sandwich is ok. Not as good as their spicy strips with BBQ sauce and cajun sparkle.
