I finally had one last Friday...got the spicy. didn't have to wait too long and it was everything yall said it was...damn delicious. beats CFA out for sure. the taste is much better then I thought! def would eat again. may grab one tonight

Same. I didnt have to wait, but the chicken isnt spicy, just the sauce. Game CFA.

I had it today for lunch and thought it was better than CFA. I agree that it's not very spicy though.

I asked at my local Popeyes and they said new sandwiches will be on the menu at the beginning of August. Didn't say if this one would be though.

I think it was piloted in certain locations. The one on Staring in BR has them. They were out of fries today though

They were on a limited hurricane menu. I went to the one on Vets and Jefferson and they both were not serving them due to the storm.

Just went for a classic and it was the best one yet, huge piece of chicken, perfectly fried, juicy, red beans and rice were perfect.

I agree it’s a dump in there, but the sandwich was pretty fresh. I can’t imagine it being much better anywhere else. With the hype this thread gave it, I was vastly underwhelmed. I’d rather a SCS from McDonalds to be honest.

Got two from Govt street today. Delicious.
When I go to that location I pull up to the window and it almost never fails that they make me backup behind the red pole that sits at the front corner of the window then pull back up instantly. What’s the deal?
