My location is typically backed out to the street unless you know what times to go, there were only two cars in front of me and I didn’t have to pull up and wait. I’m not Catholic so I won’t be getting it frequently, I just wanted to try it

Oh shite this is the response I was looking for! That dork is hilarious but yet does excellent reviews

I’ll go search that on YT

ETA nice to see some of you tried it and gave your approval. I’m going to try it next week when I’m back in the office

I'll give it a try. FYI, Checkers has a pretty good fish sandwich, nice and crispy.

Peek is to see

Peak is to reach

Pique is to question

And the Big Shack fish sandwich at Chicken Shack is very good at $2.99.

That statement should pique your interest enough to take a peek and having eaten the great sandwich will peak your normal caloric intake for the day.

Since I’m not Catholic (although I attend Manresa) I will probably have the Big Shack porkchop or Big Shack Chicken sandwich which are very good as well.

It was said on the network news that the Popeyes fish sandwich will probably stay on the menu permanently but how much network media can we trust?

Just had one. The flounder actually tasted kinda like flounder. The tarter sauce was decent but as is usually the case when I get a chicken sandwich they skimped me on the puckles. The one bite I had with the one puckle they put on there was great. The other 6-7 bites were just ok. It needs the crunch and tang of the puckle to set it off. If you get one check it for puckles before you leave the area they make you drive up to to wait on the sandwich.

Had one today. I could only eat half. It's a lot of food. My sandwich pretty much looked like yours, Mr. Balls. The fish part that hung over the outside of the bun was crispy, but what was in the bun was not. I asked for extra tartar sauce and they obliged. Mine had two large slices of pickle. The bread was so soft that it seemed like it was steamed in the bag a bit.

I haven't had many fast food fish sandwiches, but this was much better than the few I've had. The fish tasted fresh and mild, but there's a spicy aspect as well, which I assume is seasoning in the batter or on the fish or both.

I'd probably eat one again. If Popeye's had a fried flounder basket, I'd get that instead of the sandwich.
