Poor Boys Riverside Inn?

Been invited to meet some friend at PBRI in Lafy for dinner this weekend. Checked out their menu and looks like a LOT of really good choices. Any suggestions from those that have eaten there?

I don’t eat there enough to give you the best recs, but all I can say is I’ve never had a bad meal there.

There are several stuffed fish entrees that are wonderful. It's an asset to Broussard.

Second oldest restaurant in Lafayette (1932) as the food is solid especially the seafood dishes. Apps - gumbo or crab cakes. Stuffed flounder topped with lump crab meat is my favorite menu item. The Mrs. usually orders the shrimp and catfish pirogue (eggplant). If possible, request a table near the window and you may get to experience the local raccoons

Those coons get fed really well and they'll come right up to you
