It is a good event but lines can be long. The fast pass wrist band or whatever is worth it.

The wife and I have been a few times and it's not a bad event. Lots of food and drink options and live music at various locations along the main drag.

Parking can be a bit of an issue so when we went we'd do so on my motorcycle and got good parking close to the area.
