Pizza Toppings

prosciutto, basil, roasted garlic, goat cheese

Any italian meat, not just pepperoni. I like salami and prosciutto.

Provolone cheese is great.

Anchovies.

Anything but pineapple.

Mix ricotta, black pepper, and grated lemon zest, blob it here and there on a dough smeared with (Costco refrigerated) pesto sauce.

A few more topping suggestions:
Caramelized onions or thinly sliced red onions
Peppadew peppers
Capers
Nice anchovies
Garlic cloves sliced paper thin
Hot/chili spiked honey
ETA: bring freshly grated Parmesan and Pecorino cheeses

Quality ingredients is the key.

If you're going to use shredded cheese, do not buy pre shredded cheese. Shred it yourself. Mozzarella is better in chunks IMO.

Yes, I love hot honey on pizza

Boiled shrimp and Italian sausage, heavy on the parmesan. Add other stuff all the way up a supreme.

Hot honey is pretty common, at non-chain pizzerias not stuck in 1980.

Also get ppl to make and try some cheeseless pies. Most of my favorite combos are mozz free. Calabrese salami, capers, crushed tomatoes....anchovies, capers, green olives w tomato sauce.....both of those are good with fresh arugula on top, added after it emerges from the oven.

good way to ruin a solid pizza, but I think arugula tastes less than optimal
