No tendon or tripe option in the pho?

I'll pass.

Looks like a rather limited menu for a Vietnamese joint, but a bit cheaper than the place further down with a similar limited menu.

I'll probably check it out, but haven't yet. The other place is pretty good for what it was.

For some reason, anytime a Vietnamese joint opens in he city proper, they are afraid to add those to their pho. To me, they make the soup.

I live on Magazine, and I can't figure that place out. I see it open one day, and they're closed the next??????

Also, further down Mag (4100 block) there is another Vietnamese placed that just opened - Magasin Vietnamese Café

I have heard good things about this place. Everytime my wife and I try to go by, the line is out the door due to a small seating area. Then I just end up walking to Theos.

Magasin is OK... Not a fan of the atmosphere and the seating is crammed...

Magasin has pretty good food and I like the atmosphere; at least I did the first two times I went about a month ago. Now every time I drive by it's absolutely slam packed. Guess it's the hip new hangout in that area.

I am waiting to see how Ignatius does across the street from me once there move is complete. I figure the overflow from Rum House and others will definitely help them out.

But, I definitely agree it (Magasin) is the new hip hangout, for now.

I'll have to give this place a whirl. Flying back home tomorrow for Easter and it's close to the parent's home.

Anyone know their hours?

ETA: Never mind, it's on the menu.

That owner is such a fricking idiot. He closed his doors to Rue De La Course right after Christmas and planned on being open as Ignatius by Feb. 1st.. meanwhile New Year's, Mardi Gras and the Final Four have all come and gone and there's still nothing open there, one of the most prime locations on Magazine. No telling how much money he lost. Moronic.

I liked Magasin overall, but I found them to be skimpy on the meat in the Pho
