So what?
So why havent you made a smart arse comment about everyone else’s perfect lunch? They all exceed the standard calorie count in comparison to a healthy lunch. And you made a smart arse comment about half a deli poboy, potato chips, and a cup of gumbo of all things.. Its just an unnecessary and otherwise stupid comment on a food and drink post about one’s personal favorite lunch meal.

Im wasting my breath though..

Let me just leave this here.

Half a dozen Fried livers, crinkle cut fries, a roll and a Diet Dr. Pepper from the Pure Oil Gas Station on the courthouse square in DeKalb, MS..

people in Laf either love or hate Chris' for some reason, I suppose the Old Tyme loyalists,

I actually like both places alot. I prefer Old Tyme for shrimp poboy, because Old Tyme batters and fries their shrimp the good ole way, while Chris's uses that weird shite.

However, Chris's special is very tasty, and their seafood gumbo on Fridays is up there with amongst Acadiana's best.

I love fried chicken livers! I wish Popeyes still offered them.

ETA: Hard to narrow down a perfect lunch, but one might be at Cafe Jefferson at Rip Van Winkle Gardens. A cup of seafood bisque and a quarter of a muffaletta (with some left for a doggy bag). And then share a slice of key lime pie.
