Beer snobs are one step under regional federation wrestling fans. Every time someone corrects my beer talk or suggests a new beer they have thin facial hair, or a jawline beard.

What's worse the a beer snob is someone hating on beer snobs. I'm sure you have something that you like and are knowledgeable on(maybe that's a stretch). It maybe music, movies or your actual profession, point being just because you think you're making a point doesn't mean you're not coming off as a douche. Beer snobs generally want people to understand that craft beer is for people who actually enjoy different flavors and recognize the superior ingredients used. Sorry if that's condensing, but usually that's their point. That and to point out that the American beer scene was ruined by Prohibition along with people's general idea of beer.
