Any of the big 3 in Scott carry this? The short links about 4-5" long. Looking to get a few pounds and I have a buddy passing through Lafayette tomorrow.

I grilled a pack of them yesterday, they weren't worth a crap. I don't know if they were expired or what but I took 2 bites and threw them away. My son who doesn't waste anything didn't even like them. I have had good luck with them previously, not this time though. That's why I started this thread, it's grilling time and grilled boudin is a favorite of ours. I want to stock the freezer.

I can't remember the brand but I bought a case of about two to three inch links of boudin from a food broker. I grilled them at a K of C meeting and they disappeared. They were pretty darn good.

Just call best stop ahead of time and order it. We do it all the time. Tell them you want it cut up. If you order at the counter, it will take a while.

I think I miss read your post. Do you want cut up whole links or do you want just really small links?

The smaller links, 4-5" long. They are about half the size of a regular link. About the same legnth as a hot dog.

Ok, to my knowledge, the big 3 do not have that. They can just cut the link into smaller party bites.

However, if you called WAY in advanced and talked to Mr. Cormier, they might specially make it for you.

According to Best Stop online menu, they do have party links. You should call to check.

Damn, good find Darla,

I live 2 miles from that place and didn't know that. I would still imagine that this item needs to be pre-ordered though.

Thanks Darla!

Coach if I lived 2 miles from Best Stop I'd be 400lbs.

I've had some that size from Don's also. Probably a pre-order type of thing.

I gained quite a bit when I first moved here. Luckily, I'm losing it. Every time someone would visit when I first moved in, they would bring boudin and cracklins.

Johnson's bouchaire regular boudin is a smaller link...not a big link that is almost a pound there is like 3 link to make a pound!

I know your friend is heading south at Lafayette, but they do have them frozen all the time at Poche's in Breaux Bridge in 5lb vacuum sealed bags. Great for a party - no cutting it up, just individual links.
