I was going to but my line of credit on my house is already maxed out.

There was also a 1 case limit, not 5 like some past releases. I will say this, try trading SoPro beers nationally and let me know if you get the same value as you do for Parish limited releases.
$5 a can or more will do that

$5/can is pretty standard for Trillium, Other Half, Great Notion, Monkish, etc. And Parish may get crap on here, but nationally, it’s viewed as being right up with all of those. Gold medals at GABF will do that.

Maybe Parish only gives a shite with collabs. Because their core brand outside of pure tropics taste like every other juice/haze beer.

Because all juice/haze beers tatse the same. There isn't much variation between trillium and any other good local haze. Tip of the hat to alchemist, trillium, hill farmstead, etc for creating a new IPA genre but if youve had one good haze you've had them all. Foam may be the exception.....they are heads and shoulders above the other New England Giants.

This dude tells the truth.

And double IPA’s don’t? Come on. That’s a ridiculous statement and simply not true at all. If you want to say there isn’t as much variation I won’t argue but they only taste the same to those that either don’t enjoy them or don’t care about them.
Beer prices have gotten out of control and I don’t pay them anymore. Not worth it to me to pay $20 for a 4 pack when I can find a beer that’s similar for $10/ 6 pack. But if they can get the prices good for them.
What I can’t stand is the things like stouts being expensive. For years they said IPA’s are expensive because hops are expensive. Well normal stouts aren’t hoppy and have no more grains then any other beer. There’s no excuse other then that’s the price point they want. Guinness has been affordable forever and is a great beer.

I don't think he means every single one tastes the same, but a majority do taste the same. The problem is with how the beer is made. Too many breweries load up the grain bill with oats and other adjuncts and add too much brewing salts to where it overwhelms the flavor. They care more about the mouthfeel than getting the hop flavors right. IMO (that's my opinion, not necessarily the facts, for those easily triggered), most of Parish's hoppy pales taste the same. I can't tell the difference between bloom and opus vert if given a blind taste test. I find ghost to be a muddled bunch of hops now, and Envie hasn't been good since before they started canning. As far as other "juice" beers, EVERYONE makes them now, and most of them are just ok. The only "juice" beers made locally now that i still buy is Voodoo and sometimes pure tropics. Voodoo is the best, IMO.

Well, when someone adds cherries, nicaraguan vanilla beans, gummy bears, peruvian licorice, lactose, almonds, coffee, coconut, graham crackers, etc... to a stout, the price tag can go up. And i'm not opposed to adding things to a stout/porter, i do it to my homebrews, but i limit it to a minimal amount of ingredients. WHen you add the kitchen sink to your stout, it ceases to be a beer anymore, and most of them will send you into a diabetic coma.

I haven’t tried Voodoo lately. When I did , if was ok but a little over carbonated
Has it changed in the last year or so?

i mean, since they won at GABF a couple years ago, it's been pretty damn good. It's filled with a bunch of citrus flavors and it's not overly chewy like most "juice" beers. And i have been a critic of Tin Roof over the past.
As far as carbonation issues, i haven't perceived any.

I liked both beers. Cordial Cherry tastes exactly like it sounds, I can't imagine anything tasting more like a cordial cherry. I'm just not sure I'll ever really want 16 oz of cordial cherries in one sitting... Skelehawk was good imo. Better than plate lunch for me. However, I dont think it was worth $20/4pack

I agree with all of this. The cordial cherry is super thick.
Did you notice Skelehawk being Dank AF?
To me it had a definite weed aroma (most likely from the strata hops)

Fair enough. For my money, Envie, Jucifer and Holy Roller are slightly better, but it’s splitting hairs.
The batch I had may have been an exception in regards to carbonation
