But every juicebomb triple I’ve had has been ridiculously good.

who is doing those? first thought was Monkish or maybe Other Half, but they are only advertising at DIPAs.

I’ve had ones from OH, monkish, trillium, and veil

We We Ded Ded from the veil was the last one I had. 11% and smooth as a baby’s bottom

I’ve found them to be too boozy or too malty for my taste

Having said that I would love to try this one

It’s really a great example of how a competitive market is great for the consumer. For ages breweries were able to get buy solely on just being local and now the consumer base has both gotten smarter and given more options than ever.

Louisiana went from zero good IPAs to being stacked in a few years

Yep, but there are some that wont admit really, really good beer is coming from Louisiana.

I was at the Great Raft brewery over the holiday having a GnG and then barrel aged Old Mad Joy (and repeating that sequence several times) and couldnt help but think "my god this is good and in Shreveport, Louisiana". Unreal.

Relative to what I've seen in other southern states, we are pretty spoiled here between Parish, Great Raft, Gnarly Barley, Courtyard, etc.

The hazy IPAs coming out of Louisiana are as good as anything, anywhere, FWIW.

Having said that, I thought the ABV floor for a triple IPA was generally accepted to be 10 percent?
