Pantry storage containers outside OXO recs?

Does anyone have any storage container recs for their pantry like flour, cereal, grains, etc. outside of the OXO brand? For one OXO is high as giraffe poon on price, but for 2 they are breakable almost like glass. I have little kids so I'd prefer just some old school tupperware type. If I bought OXO I'd be looking at like $800 lol. There's gotta be something not as nice and cheaper that still works and stacks right?
ETA: So my OP gave me the idea to look up Tupperware brand and its high in price too, wtf. $9.95 for one spaghetti noodle container? That's absurd.

I save those large plastic containers I get from products at Costco. Mayo in gallon containers, mixed nuts in 1/2 gallon containers, Coffee Mate in the same. They are all plastic containers and I'll wash them and store things like beans, rice, salt, etc. in them.
I also use their laundry detergent containers after cleaning them and putting flour, sugar, etc. that I buy in bulk. I make a lot of my own breads so 25 lbs. of flour goes pretty quick.

That's a good idea but I don't think my wife will go for it. I usually save what plastic containers I can for my garage stuff.

Oh, one of those. "It's not only got to be functional, but it's got to look good, neat and orderly doing so" types.
My wife don't give a hoot and I'm the one who cooks, shops and takes care of such things as I'm retired and she still works.

I use Lock & Lock. Used to be able to get at BB&Beyond...QVC has it.

Cambro storage containers, just like every restaurant on earth.
I have a few of those and love them. Two of them hold upwards of 3 gallons of product and when I make gumbo in large quantities for parties and such, that is what I store it in and transport it to the venue in. The only issue I have with them is the lids snap on but don't really lock down real snug sometimes and are easily jarred open.
I have one of the 3 gallon ones in my downstairs fridge with 4 lbs. of finished red beans in it that I have to bag up for freezer storage.

Some styles have tighter lids than others.

How about 2 gallon Ziploc bags (you can reuse them). They will hold a 5 gallon bag of sugar or rice, ect. If your buying more than they will hold and you're worried about spoilage maybe you are buying too much at one time and you have a buying/consumption issue. Buying in bulk can save money, but if you buy so much that some spoils/goes stale maybe you should not buy that item in bulk.

I’m not talking about buying in bulk. The Cambro are decent but are meant for restaurant bulk, smallest it looks like they really make are 2 quart. They have some 1 quarts butOXO is the perfect example, would simply like something we can organize and stack in our pantry to keep it neat and organized.
From what I can find online you go from your cheap ziploc leftover containers for $5 for 10, to something like Tupperware and OXO that are $10 per 1 quart container. Just doesn’t make sense there isn’t a cheaper in between, something like the old school Tupperware.
Eta: the qvc example is what I was looking for. Thank you

I have the rectangular containers from Rubbermaid and they work fine. Modular and I can buy one at a time to get exactly what I want. Not expensive either as they came ftom Walmart.
They also have clear, square containers with screw off lids that are insanely cheap and can hold a lot.

Someone suggested Rubbermaid, and I agree with that suggestion. I've used it for at least 20 years, and love it. I have both clear and translucent. The styles have changed over the years, but the quality hasn't. Good stuff!

Sam's has these too - in their restaurant supply area. I bet Costco also has them. We use them for flour, sugar, cornmeal, Would also hold cereal if needed. Two ? Sizes at Sam's.
