I went to Thai Kitchen quite often when I lived in BR...but, I was never impressed with their Pad Thai.

Boooooo.
I will never step foot in Thai Kitchen again. Sub-par and owner turned into an a-hole.

Thai Chili on Coursey is awesome!
I loves me some crunchy bean sprouts in my Pad Thai, enough to request some on the side when I order the dish just so I get that extreme cold crunch which is a perfect dichotomy to the warm and soft noodles. One day, Thai Chili decided that bean sprouts didn't need to be part of Pad Thai, but that they would use "Chinese vegetables" instead. What makes it even more frustrating is that every time you walk up to the restaurant, there's a three foot photo of a Pad Thai dish, chock-full of bean sprouts.

I've also been there when they served the Pad Thai with lemons instead of lime (wtf?). When I asked about it, they said that they were out of limes. What's up with a Thai restaurant not having limes, especially being in the same building as a fricking Walmart?
Bottom line is that Thai Chili has really good food at reasonable prices and I would recommend it to anyone, but when I get a Pad Thai craving, I go elsewhere.
On a side note, Pimon Thai in Lafayette is also good, but they've decided that shrimp need not be in the dish. You can order shrimp to put in it, but it's an up charge over and above the already expensive $13 noodle dish. Damn thing will cost you over twenty bucks after tax and tip.

I mean what the hell did he think Rama was? A response to a question about where to get Pad Thai...he thought I was just making up words I guess.
I'm glad you felt the need to be an a-hole twice, in a thread started 2 months ago. You must have a lot going for you...

Is there a restaurant in Baton Rouge named Rama by any chance, and if so do they have pad thai?

You are truly a sad individual, when you are over the age of 50, and resort to being a childish prick on an informational thread started 2 months ago. Grow up.

Sorry I provided an answer to your question. And sorry somebody bumped the thread.
And I'm not 50...but when I turn 50 I promise to get super serious on message boards.
Relax guy. We were all having a little fun. That's all.

Then why did you post this?
