Damn I love that place and location. The manager, Remi is a hell of a guy. I hope they get compensated really well and can find a spot in the same area.

They’ve been offered the spot where the on/off ramp with be taken out on Perkins.

Maybe I'm just not understanding the project completely, but wouldn't K Street restaurant also be in jeopardy?

There is Pinettas, a book store, and that cracker barrel gas station that needs to be demolished. I've never seen anyone get gas there, I don't know how it still operates.

No, K Street is up against the Perkins Rd. overpass, not I-10.
The other properties that I think would be in jeopardy would be the salon on Christian St., the condos right along I-10, Ivar's and Bolton Pharmacy.

Two older gentlemen from BR. One is my friends FIL. They’re tried to get it rezoned numerous times to CAB1-2. Neighborhood association has always denied it so they have kinda given up. Light commercial seems doable but they don’t want businesses operating as a bar or restaurant on the lot. That could change now with all this happening
