I cannot understand why they make them SO hard to open. My hand throbs after doing so, even if I try using a shirt or towel. Anyone else have this issue? And anyone know why they're made almost impossible to open?

Sure thing. But he's not around everytime I open one.

Man up. I don't care if you take that as sexist or not. It's a powerade bottle, not a frozen pressure-caned jar.

I actually have to ice my hands after applying pressure. Had the same problem for years just never wanted to tell anyone.

Powerade is made for athletes, they have the strength and mental ability to out smart the twist off lid.

I've never noticed them being difficult to open. Turning my hand/wrist upside down to twist helps me with other items that may be hard to open though.

I agree. About 3 times as much sodium. Which I love.

Cut a hole in the top and drink it out of a straw.

Lemon Lime or Orange only. I'm conservative when it comes to Gatorade

That's a good idea GeauxLSUGRL because with a line like that you can be assured he will be alone.

My 12 year old has trouble opening them but I find them more difficult when kept in fridge. Maybe they ought to look at putting them in a can or like the energy drinks
