It is a great vacation grocery store. You can splurge. No way, as nice as it is, could I afford to do all my grocery shopping there...OT poor

Growing up, I thought Community was the best selling coffee in the country. Couldn't understand why Maxwell House and Folgers ran all those ads on TV when literally no one we knew drank them.

One of these is not like the other.

The only thing good about Publix is the people. Very mediocre store beyond that.
HEB is on a completely different plane.

agreed. it is hard to find community w/ chicory. The house blend in kcups is the push.

I’d trade all that community coffee for a good grocery store like Publix or HEB

Hint: HEB >>>>> Publix

Cafe blend is our choice. In Lafayette most stores have multiple blends.

The Publix in Orange Beach is legit. That’s the extent of my Publix experience

I’m not a flavored coffee drinker so luckily the handful of varieties our Publix stocks are sufficient

Pub subs, while amazing, don’t make up for the litany of other things I miss from LA grocery stores though

La
Live in Louisiana and will literally go to 3 different grocery stores to get things I need for a dish.

Costco.

Rouses.

Specialty meat shop/small cajun grocer?

I mean I'm sure I could just get everything at borques, but the Costco baby formula is pretty legit

Eta: before Ralph's ruined it, Butcher Boy in plaquemine either had or would get anything you needed. And do it for the tiniest amount of profit.

Community is average coffee.

I haven't had it in years. Used to have it shipped up to me, but it's difficult to find whole bean on their website (at least in the type that I want).

I still have a lot of nostalgia for it, but I agree that there are better brands out there.
