Worth the price or should I avoid?

My brother is a bitch to buy for, but loves Ribeyes and lives in SC, so I figure this would be any easy gift to ship to him that I know he'd like.
Anybody with any input is greatly appreciated. TIA

There are better steak places like that out there. Omaha steaks are generally pretty average in quality.

Avoid. Look up a local specialty meat / butcher and get him a gift card there. Waaaay better than a flash frozen Firestones

He will kiss you on the mouth.

It's high, yes. I am more likely to buy this for myself than anyone else.

The ribeyes are over priced, but you could go with just a variety pack. They screw you on shipping so try to order when they ship for free. Price is more manageable then.

If you are going to order the Allen Bros or Lobels out of New York are far better than Omaha.

AVOID: I would not order Omaha...

It took an act of God and a side by side taste test of Omaha vs. Grocery Store (HEB) to show the value / quality of Omaha product relative to something from the store. It was an intervention that was long overdue.

The gourmet hot dog weiner was just icing on the cake for me. Thank God I no longer have to look at gourmet hot dogs in the freezer...

My mom ordered some Omaha Steaks for the first time last week. They arrived last week and were absolutely pathetic. She complained and they gave her a full refund. She said the steaks looked nothing at all like the pictures.

Not worth it. My aunt in Philly sends us a styrofoam box of Omaha steaks every year for Christmas and they aren't that great, considering the price.

We used to give them as a gift to my dad. He's difficult to buy for too, and always really loved him

Then after two years of doing it the Omaha bastards called and called and called and called us for an order. After the fifth call that month (October), months before Christmas and before I'd even place a Christmas order to begin with, I had enough and told them to eff off.
