Speaking of Oysters 2+2+2..

Del Lago...w/Bienville, Rockefeller, Nelson..BR's swankiest nightclub ever..was in the disco era..dancefloor smack in the middle of a topshelf restraunt..every famous person or concert act that came through BR..this is where they were that night..and food-wise right with Chalet Brandt as BR's best restraunt ever..just picture Flemings with a dancefloor and disco ball in the middle of the main dining room.

Poets...also a great 2+2+2..the precursor to Mansur's when ownership changed.

Just thought of something else. I lasted three semesters at LSU and then went to Harvard on the Bayou. In those days you could get a hamburger steak, fies and a bud for $1.00. (1969)

The place before was Jason's, and then I think he had to rename it JT's or something because of naming rights or something. It wasn't as bad as Linebacker's though

The Sicily's on Bluebonnet was good pizza.

My roommate worked at Sicily's back in the day. We would go in after hours sometimes and make our own pizzas and drink beer.

Man, that was a good job.
