was thinking of some of the old places to eat in BR ... remember some of these?:

mickey's gold nugget
sizzler
bonanza
rax
danvers
mike & tony's
jack sabin's
jack's grill
vince sotile's
the catfish house

Whatever happened to Ground Patty?

I remember it being good when I was a kid. Maybe I was just too young to know better.

How about Vince's Resturant - Staring and Highland..

They has some pretty good food.

Remember most all of them

Catfish house was right around the corner, so ate there often.

Never disappointed. I wasn't as experienced a diner back then. But I always had good meals there.

they had one on south sherwood that's a po-boy place now and there was one on jefferson highway for a long time that is now las palmas ... i used to like ground pat'i too ... YA, TA or one of the new orleans posters can confirm one way or the other -- but i think there is still a ground pat'i in kenner off of veterans ..

Buddy came along and opened there for a short while, years after catfish house closed.
